چکیده
Objective: Our study aimed to identify the most common subtypes of Guillian Barre Syndrome in our sample group and evaluate their electrophysiological features better understand disorder. Materials methods: Between January 2020 February 2021, we gathered information from patients diagnosed with referred Neurology department at Lady Reading Hospital. Results: We enrolled 39 people Syndrome; 26 were male (67%), whereas 13 female (33%). Based on analyses, axonal diversity is (AMAN followed by AMSAN). The average age a patient AMSAN was 39.2 21.8 years, but those demyelinating form only 28 14.5. Springtime greatest incidence GBS cases (33%), fall 12 (31%). Conlusion: A significant variety [Guillain-Barré Syndrome] found research, which conducted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.

Clinical and electrophysiological features of post-traumatic Guillain-Barré syndrome
BACKGROUND Post-traumatic Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is a rarely described potentially life-threatening cause of weakness. We sought to elucidate the clinical features and electrophysiological patterns of post-traumatic GBS as an aid to diagnosis. METHODS We retrospectively studied six patients diagnosed with post-traumatic GBS between 2014 and 2016 at Tianjin Medical University General Ho...

Background: Guillain-Barré syndrome is an autoimmune inflammatory disease, which manifests itself as an acute motor weakness of the organs, diagnosed as affecting the motor spinal nerve roots generally and causing muscle and motor weakness, the cause of this disease is the presence of active antibodies against the myelin sheath around the spinal nerve roots. Guillain-Barré syndrome is the most ...

UNLABELLED There are few papers devoted to geriatric Guillain-Barré (GBS) and many related issues remain unanswered. OBJECTIVE To describe clinical, electrophysiological and therapeutic features in this age. METHOD Clinico-epidemiological data and therapy of GBS patients older than 60 years were reviewed. Hughes scores were used to quantify neurological deficit and define outcome. RESULTS...

Guillain Barré syndrome is one of the best examples of a post infectious immune disease and offers insights into the mechanism of tissue damage in other more common autoimmune diseases. Controlled epidemiological studies have linked it to infection with Campylobacter jejuni in addition to other viruses including cytomegalovirus and Epstein Barr virus. The syndrome includes several pathological ...
متن کاملSensory Guillain-Barré syndrome.
OBJECTIVE To report eight cases of sensory Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). BACKGROUND The concept of sensory equivalent to ascending paralysis of GBS was raised in 1958, and the diagnostic criteria for a sensory loss and areflexia variant of GBS were proposed in 1981. However, clinical cases meeting these criteria have been relatively scarce. METHODS During a 13-year period between 1986 and ...
